Emergency Food Aid

Afghanistan is in the midst of one of the world’s most complex, severe, and protracted humanitarian crises since the Taliban government takeover in August 2021. The World Health Organization estimates that 22 million Afghans—almost half of the population—will need humanitarian assistance in 2025 due to four decades of conflict, economic collapse, widespread poverty, and recurring climate-related disasters.

Nutrition & Education International (NEI) has spent the last 22 years building a self-sustainable soy value chain in Afghanistan and is able to produce, prepare, and distribute protein-rich soy meals to Afghan families.

You can make a difference. Each dollar of your gift will provide an individual with two nutritious meals per day.

Individual: $1/day

1,000 people: $1,000/day

1,000 people: $30,000/month

1,000 people: $90,000/3 months

Donate now to provide soy protein-rich meals, firewood, and essential cooking supplies to vulnerable and under-resourced Afghan families facing malnutrition and starvation.

NEI would like to thank the Global Bridge Foundation for their generosity. The Global Bridge Foundation grant has allowed more Afghan women to feed their children high-protein soy foods.
